Another all vinyl podcast from me, DJ Version Girl. A friend asked for a copy of a record I played at a show, so I figured I'd embed it into a whole podcast full of unique reggae finds. You might hate these, you might love these, but you'll have to agree that they are interesting. I wanted to do a podcast of songs that challenge the popular beliefs of what reggae is. I had to begin and end with two Asian inspired Leslie Butler tracks.
1. Tae-Kwon-Do - Leslie Butler (Aquarius)
2. It May Sound Silly - Inge Larsen & I-Roy (Moodisc)
3. Single Barrel - Dave & Ansel Collins (Klik)
4. Mr. Finigan - I-Roy & Niney (Observer)
5. Lorna Banana - Junior Byles (Advance)
6. Nefertiti - King Julio Caesar Chavez (African Science)
7. Aunti Lulu - Ranking Trevor (Hit Bound)
8. Chopsticks - The Deltones (Trojan)
9. Anti Christ - Yabby U (Vivian Jackson)
10. Rude Walking - Upsetters (Black Ark)
11. Leggo - Jah Lloyd (Mango)
12. Hell is For Heroes - Big Youth (Negusa Nagast)
13. Muhammad Ali - Dennis Alcapone (Magnet)
14. Coming on the Scene - Johnny & the Attractions (Gay Feet)
15. Ho Chi Min Trail - Leslie Bulter (Black Wax)
